Paralympics Australia has announced that investment bank and financial services corporation Citi Australia will continue its commitment to the Australian Paralympic team by re-signing as a Paralympics Australia Global Partner.

Citi has deep ties with the Paralympic movement globally, and Citi Australia has been a Global Partner to Paralympics Australia since 2018.

With one year to go until the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games, Paralympics Australia is thrilled to continue this key relationship which plays a crucial role in supporting Australian athletes compete at their best on the world stage.

Welcoming the ongoing support, Paralympics Australia Chief Executive, Catherine Clark stated “Paralympics Australia is all about building strong and enduring partnerships with organisations which, like Citi, are committed to championing inclusion and changing perceptions of disability.

“Citi’s relationship with Paralympic sport dates back over a decade now, resulting in a range of collaboration initiatives and I’m confident there is plenty of scope for us to continue to grow the partnership."

Citi Australia Chief Executive, Mark Woodruff noted "it is an enormous privilege to continue supporting Paralympics Australia as a Global Partner. As we mark one year to the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, we are delighted to share in the excitement of being part of the team behind the team.

Citi extended its worldwide link with the Paralympic Movement last year. The global partnership drives valuable local business-to-business opportunities for Citi and creates opportunity for networking with leading brands that have partnered with Paralympics Australia.

In addition to the sponsorship, Citi Australia also supports four-time Paralympian Madison de Rozario, who was appointed as a Team Citi Ambassador in 2019.
