Leading commercial fitness equipment distributor NovoFit is to take on the Australian distributorship for global fitness manufacturer, Precor, as of 1st July 2019.

The momentous union will strengthen the NovoFit portfolio and result in greater national coverage of resources for new and existing Australian customers of both businesses.

The alliance with Amer Sports’ leading fitness brand, Precor, is an outstanding addition to the existing 25 global brands currently distributed by NovoFit exclusively in Australia.

The acquisition of the brands’ extensive range of superiorly engineered equipment supported by industry leading technology and software brings point-of-difference products and a well-known global reputation to the distributors’ mounting portfolio.

NovoFit in turn have an established network of national warehousing, servicing, installation and after sales support that will provide significant advantages to Precor’s current client base, while also exposing the brand and products to a new market.

The synergy between NovoFit’s mission “to be Australia’s trusted provider of global fitness brands”, complements Precor’s own mission “to develop personalised health and fitness experiences” by adding a dominant brand to the distributor while building on customer relations, with the plan that several members of Precor’s most experienced key sales and customer service team joining NovoFit and increasing the After Sales Support department to 19 members.
