NIDA to host Australian Performing Arts Exchange in September
May 28, 2021

PAC Australia, organisers of the Australian Performing Arts Exchange (APAX), have announced that the event will be staged at NIDA in Sydney from 6th to 10th September.

Seen as the most significant annual gathering of performing arts professionals in Australia - the 2021 event will offer options to attend both in person and online, opening up access to delegates across Australia and internationally through the event’s new digital platform.

Organisers advise “we know there's work to be done before our sector can confidently claim to be passed the pandemic, but for one week you're invited to join us as together we pause and relinquish tiring conversations about crisis and recovery.

“Let's shift the conversation from emergency to emergence and get excited about the possibilities and opportunities we now face, as individuals, as organisations and as a sector.

“APAX 2021 will be filled with refreshing discussions about opportunity, inclusion, and new models of success. Together, we'll share details about new and upcoming work, continue connecting producers and presenters from around the world, and provide those long-awaited face-to-face networking opportunities and professional development programs.”

PAC Australia’s annual national networking and development event, APAX is the most significant annual gathering of performing arts professionals in Australia, providing the connections, professional development and opportunities that deliver the performing arts across the country.
