read moreYMCA Victoria’s revitalisation of its Recreation division has reached its final phase, with the appointment of four new Development Managers: Charlotte Hurst, Nathan Costin, Scott Bryant and Matthew Weisheit.
With a collective 52 years of experience between them, this team of Development Managers were appointed to bring greater focus to customer service, innovation, risk management, and stakeholder management, to deliver improved outcomes for the community and YMCA Victoria’s partners.
All four have strong industry and local government relationships. Between them, they support YMCA’s 23 local government partnerships, and have strategic input across a range of industry committees and working groups.
Anthony Neal, YMCA Executive Officer Recreation and Global Initiatives, said the appointments were part of the long-term strategy of the organisation around continual improvement and best-practice service delivery.
Neal explains “we have been working within Victorian communities for more than 160 years and are proud to be an industry leader, but we are determined to never rest on our laurels. That’s why we have such a strong focus on continual improvement.
“As community expectations rise, as councils need to deliver more with less, we need to respond to those pressures in innovative ways, to deliver excellent customer service and excellent value for money.
“With the appointment of Charlotte, Scott, Nathan and Matthew, we have the expertise in place to bring even greater focus to service delivery and operational excellence,” he said.
Hurst, said she was looking forward to her new role, adding “the relationships we have with our partners in local government and industry are important to us.
“In our new roles, my colleagues and I can really focus on those relationships, as well as take a broader view on how to make what we do in recreation and facility management even better.”
The new structure was implemented on 4th September.
