New program to help fitness businesses maximise benefits in providing nutrition advice
Fitness businesses can now offer members and clients fitness, nutrition and mindset orientated advice as part of Metabolic Jumpstart’s spring 8-Week Challenge.
Commencing on Monday 12th September, the ready-to-run challenge format includes a personalised nutrition program by dietitian and Metabolic Jumpstart creator Matt O’Neill, weekly coaching emails, website membership and all promotional materials. Fitness centres and personal trainers simply add in their training services to deliver an efficient and effective results package.
Introducing the program, O’Neill says that most fitness businesses struggle to find the time or resources to deliver a comprehensive fitness challenge while they are often not qualified to deliver a personalised nutrition program.
As a result, he explains “we provide the Challenge logo, posters, weekly emails, admin forms and even a Facebook Group, so it’s easy to run. And most importantly, the nutrition is covered, so Challenge participants can achieve weight loss results and positive behaviour change.”
Fitness businesses that come on board with Metabolic Jumpstart choose the fitness services to include in their event and what fee to charge.
Metabolic Jumpstart’s Official Partner scheme allows fitness businesses to purchase dietitian-designed nutrition programs at a 40% discount. They then either sell the nutrition program as a stand-alone retail product or package it with personal training, into fitness challenges or gym memberships.
Commenting on the value of being involved with Metabolic Jumpstart’s 8-Week Challenge, Rebecca Hannon, owner of fitness centre Fun, Fast, Fitness at Richmond, NSW explains “Metabolic Jumpstart’s 8-Week Challenge helped us recruit new members and when the Challenge was over, I was still getting new membership inquiries."
Queensland-based Crossfit Geebung 4034 owner Dianne McCausland adds “the Metabolic Jumpstart 8-Week Challenges are a fantastic, cost-effective way to run a fitness challenge, as the heavy lifting is done for you so you can get on with promotion and fitness.”
Over 22,000 people have participated in the program and there are over 70 Official Partners.
