International fitness body the IDEA Health & Fitness Association has named leading cloud-based business management software provider MINDBODY as its association’s official business software sponsor.

As a result, fitness seekers worldwide will now be able to easily access and book appointments with personal trainers, group exercise instructors and other fitness professionals that utilise MINDBODY’s fitness and wellness software.

Fitness professional listings on IDEA’s FitnessConnect now include a badge clearly identifying those that utilise MINDBODY’s software. Additionally, these profiles now feature a direct link to the fitness professional’s schedule with booking options powered by MINDBODY.

The partnership with MINDBODY increases the usability of IDEA’s FitnessConnect, already the world’s largest fitness professional directory, connecting more than 16 million consumers to more than 250,000 fitness professionals with credentials verified by the top 200 fitness certification and training bodies.

Announcing the link, IDEA Chief Executive Peter Davis stated “we are thrilled to work with MINDBODY as they are a preeminent business software solution for fitness studios and fitness entrepreneurs.

This relationship represents the first time IDEA has included a third party in FitnessConnect.
