Orimatech, a key commercial master dealers of Maytronics WAVE Dolphin-branded robotic pool cleaners in NSW and Queensland since 2011, is a privately-owned company, which specialises in the sales and service of commercial robotic pool cleaners and associated commercial pool equipment products.
Advising of the acquisition and that the business will continue to operate under the Orimatech trade name, with all staff members welcomed into the Maytronics family, Dan Kwaczynski, Managing Director of Maytronics, explained “we are delighted about the opportunity to acquire Orimatech and to be able to secure the services of its highly experienced team, which allows us to continue building on the heritage of its commercial partnerships that has successfully spanned many decades.
“Orimatech, as a strategic commercial aquatic industry channel partner, operates in a specialised and high potential market in the pool industry.
“This acquisition offers us a unique opportunity to leverage the capabilities, systems and processes of the Orimatech business together with the exceptional strengths, reputations and customer service of its strategic aquatic industry partners.”
Orimatech Director John Davie, who will remain with the business for several months before retiring, commented “since 1974, Orimatech has been providing sales and service of a range of equipment to the commercial swimming pool industry with a passion for offering honest and trustworthy service to our customers.
“The integration into Maytronics, combines a wealth of industry knowledge and experience with a focused and driven organisation that is perfectly placed to support future growth in the aquatics industry.”
John and Beth Davie will stay on for a transition period to ensure ongoing consistency of service before enjoying their retirement.
Davie was this week presented with the Aquatic and Recreation Institute (NSW)'s Adam Lloyd Memorial Spirit Award, following the announcement of the Award at a virtual ceremony earlier this year. The presentation was made by David Lloyd of International Quadratics at the SPLASH! exhibition.
