The International Association of Trampoline Parks’s recent fourth Annual Conference and Trade Show attracted 500 attendees and vendors from 25 countries - a testament to the growth both domestically and internationally of the indoor trampoline park industry.

Held in in Nashville, USA from 13th to 15th September the event included a Service Technician Certification program as well as sessions dealing with legislative and regulatory matters, risk management, operations, insurance and methods to expand and increase revenue through group sales and added attractions.

Incoming International Association of Trampoline Parks (IATP) Chairman David Schaeffer stated “as the association continues to grow, we will continue to raise the bar for our industry.

“It is imperative that we set a precedent on how to own and operate a successful indoor trampoline park facility.

“Industry growth is important, but in order to achieve real longevity our industry must grow safely and in a manageable manner. We feel it is the mission of the IATP to provide the necessary education and resources to accomplish this goal, and we plan to do so.”

Highlights of the conference included founding Board Members - Phillip Howell, Best American Trampolines; Philip Slaggert, Sky Zone Franchise Group and current IATP Chairman, Jerry Raymond of Sky High Sports - being honoured for their dedicated service.

2016 Award Recipients include: Rockin’ Jump - Exemplary Community Service Best American Trampolines - Exhibitor of the Year Peter Brown, Freedome Trampoline Parks - IATP Person of the Year

Additionally, the IATP welcomed incoming Board Members, Barry Jenkins of AZ Airtime, Robert Bice of ITrampoline Hawaii and Peter Brown of Freedome Trampoline Parks.

The IATP is an industry trade association whose purpose is to promote reasonably safe operations, facilitate commercial success and stimulate growth of the trampoline park industry.
