Expressions of Interest open for Jubilee Stadium Naming Rights

Expressions of Interest open for Jubilee Stadium Naming Rights
June 4, 2025

Georges River Council has opened an Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the naming rights of Jubilee Stadium. The naming rights agreement is for a period of three years, with the option to extend for a further three years.

The call for a new naming rights partner follows the termination in March 2025 of the agreement with Netstrata for Jubilee Stadium. An investigation into Netstrata by McGrathNicol found the strata management company was charging excessive fees, while not disclosing conflicts of interest and referral commissions. Georges River Council considered continued association with Netstrata would likely affect the reputation of the Council.

The current EOI presents a rare chance for suitably qualified and highly regarded corporates, businesses or organisations to align their brand with one of Sydney’s renowned sporting venues. The exclusive opportunity is designed for an organisation that shares Council’s values of community connection, excellence and legacy.

It’s also a chance to align with NRL teams, the St George Illawarra Dragons, and gain access to a broad and passionate audience through matches and events held at the stadium.

The naming rights agreement is for a period of three years, with the option to extend for a further three years.

Georges River Council Mayor Elise Borg enthused “this is an exciting opportunity for the right organisation to become part of the next chapter in the history of Jubilee Stadium.

“It’s more than just a sporting venue - it’s a place where our community comes together to celebrate local pride, resilience, and shared experiences. This is a rare chance for an organisation to link their brand to a venue with history and heart.

“We welcome expressions of interest from organisations that are aligned with our values and committed to a partnership built on impact, visibility and shared success.”

Organisations can register their interest via Georges River Council’s tender portal.

More information on the EOI, which closes on Tuesday 1st July 2025, can be found in the prospectus
