DOF Robotics secures Brass Ring award at IAAPA Expo Asia 2023
DOF Robotics, a producer of dynamic simulation platforms, has been awarded an IAAPA Brass Ring Award for Best Exhibit at IAAPA Expo Asia 2023.
The firm scooped second place in the 63 square meters and larger category, for Booth L1513.
The tradition of the brass ring, a term now synonymous with spectacular achievement, dates to the 1800s when rings were hung on carousels to pose a fun challenge for riders. Successfully grabbing a ring while riding the carousel often earned the rider a prize, often including an additional free ride. Most rings were made of iron, but a few were made of brass, so grabbing the brass ring was a coveted and celebrated treat.
The IAAPA Brass Ring Awards honour this tradition and celebrate excellence in the visitor attractions sector. Booths were judged on their overall attractiveness, staffing, product, branding, and design.
The DOF Robotics booth showcased innovative new products, such as the upgraded Hurricane VR 360 attraction, and offers delegates live demonstrations of DOF Robotics’ range of entertainment experiences. The company also launched the VR movie Homeland: Rise of Nomads at the conference.
Since it was founded in 2006, DOF continued revolutionising the amusement industry by producing high-tech immersive VR and AR attractions, motion simulators and interactive VR games. DOF Robotics provides a one-stop-shop service from project design to maintenance and training.
Over the past decade, they have installed their products in over 400 locations worldwide. These include Flying Theaters, Dark Rides, Immersive tunnels, Panorama Theaters, Dome Theaters, XD, and 4D Theaters, VR and AR-based attractions, Interactive simulations, Interactive Games and other customized types of Simulation Rides. All of which was exclusively developed by DOF Robotics for the Amusement and Simulation Industries.
The IAAPA Brass Ring Awards 2023 attracted over 80 entries, with six winners selected over three categories.
