Accelerate Coaching Australia (ACA) and AFL Coaches Association have launched an interactive online and face to face training program for club and community coaches, designed to provide support, learning and development.

Endorsed by the President of the AFL Coaches Association, David Parkin the Accelerate Coach Education Program is specifically designed by AFL's best known coaches, academics in the field and leaders in sport, to enhance coach effectiveness, output and provide support to achieve optimum individual and team performance.

Introducing the program, Parkin stated "the Accelerate Coach Education Program is an invaluable resource that provides mentoring and support for club and community coaches to improve their performance to develop their players' potential.

"This program is fully supported by the AFL Coaches Association, as it presents a great opportunity for coaches of the sport to collaborate and develop to strengthen the future of AFL in Australia."

Aimed at coaches on all different levels, the innovative coach education program consists of online modules, face to face learning workshops, downloadable resources, online videos with AFL's top strategists and players.

Past AFL premiership player, coach and co-founder of the program Anthony Rock says the content has been specifically created to allow for professional development and collaboration, explaining "the program is for coaches or clubs who want to invest in their professional development, move to the next level and enhance their knowledge and competency.

"The content of the Accelerate Coach Education Program allows participants to share experiences, success stories, ask questions and receive feedback and suggestions from their peers and our experts from Accelerate Coaching Australia and the AFL Coaches Association.

"We have made the program accessible to participants on all different levels, from community to high level club coaches, with the ability to adapt the content and key principles to suit various skill levels.
