Once a dedicated boxing gym, owners Phil and Chris Leaga have transformed Fighting for Fitness into a world class fitness hub with cross fit and circuit classes, a professional boxing ring, holistic nutritional advice and tailored personal training programs.
Fighting for Fitness’ opening event on Saturday (26th July) included a body boot camp, sumo competitions, technical boxing demonstrations, competitions and jumping castle for children – with proceeds donated to the MS Foundation.
Introducing the new club, Chris Leaga explains “Fighting for Fitness is a gym, but not as people would know it!”
Offering personalised fitness training, Fighting for Fitness’ emphasis is on helping members reach their personal best with an emphasis on motivation.
Leaga adds “at Fighting for Fitness we offer more than just regular classes.
“We know that staying motivated can be difficult, especially in large, impersonal classes that do not cater for specific fitness needs.
“Whether it is through small corporate group coaching, or private coaching, boxing, Pilates or yoga we know that we can coach you towards your personal best.
“Our coaches are experienced athletes and fitness leaders who believe that education, practice and intensity are the proven methods for achieving lasting results.
“We train at a very high level, while maintaining attention to detail, safety and individual fitness levels.”
Fighting for Fitness is located at 1 Yulestar Street, Albion - at the Albion Park Raceway.
