read moreSuper Rugby’s the Auckland Blues have renewed their agreement with ticketing partner, Flicket, with the extension taking the partnership to the end of 2025.
Advising that the new agreement will enable the franchise “to connect better with their fans, with greater data potential and flexibility in the ticketing approach including tiers, pricing and upgrades” a statement from the Blues went on say that the two year extension will see team benefit from Flicket’s real-time reporting and customer support as well as the direct to fan experience, maximising conversion ratios and enabling better utilisation of marketing spend.
Announcing the extension, Todd Hewitt, the Blues’ General Manager of Commercial, commented “the Blues have worked hard to drive at match attendance and experience over the last three years and in Flicket we have a partner who is here to grow the premium position that rugby has held in New Zealand for many years, by supporting the Blues to build strong communities for the future of the game.”
Flicket Chief Executive and co-founder, Ben Calvert added “we extend our deepest gratitude to key stakeholders, including Eden Park, Auckland Rugby, and the Blues, for their unwavering support. This collaboration not only underscores our commitment to innovation but also signifies dedication from all key stakeholders in providing fans with a seamless and enhanced ticketing experience.
“We are particularly proud to be supported by the Blues, a team that values and champions New Zealand-owned and operated businesses. As we continue this journey together, Flicket is excited to continue elevating the connection directly between the Blues and their fans, making every checkout a breeze.”
