25 years after first industry benchmarks CERM PI opens 2017 survey

25 years after first industry benchmarks CERM PI opens 2017 survey
October 14, 2017

The CERM Performance Indicators project (CERM PI®) at the University of South Australia is inviting Australasian aquatic, recreation and sport centres to be involved in its annual survey for the financial year 2016/17.

Having been initiated by industry partners in 1990, after three years of development the first CERM PI operational management benchmarks were published in 1992. Since then, the annual national benchmarking survey has grown to provide the most robust industry indicators for aquatic, recreation and sport facilities providing a national perspective on operational performance.

With key performance indicators reported for key aspects of operational management including finance, services, marketing, human resources, utilities and facilities, CERM Performance Indicators allow facilities to compare performance with other facilities.

Participants have two options:

1. To become a CERM PI subscriber ($530 annual fee), and also receive current industry specific operational indicators via the CERM PI National Benchmarks publication at the conclusion of the survey, or

2. To submit data to CERM PI, and receive their centre’s results immediately at no cost.

All data received will be treated with the utmost confidentiality, will be non-identifiable and managed according to established University protocols.

Participants of the survey will be the only recipients of their centre's results.

Upon registering, participants will be provided with instructions and the tools required to submit data.

All data must be submitted by Friday 8th December 2017.

For further information contact Raylene Jones, CERM Performance Indicators, UniSA Business School on 08 8302 5321, E: cermpi@unisa.edu.au or go to unisa.edu.au/cermpi
