General Manager of Operations at Funday Entertainment Group

The General Manager of Operations is responsible for managing the Team, day-to-day operations, safety and compliance at Perth’s Outback Splash.

Perth’s Outback Splash is open all year with attractions and activities for all ages; 6 mazes, 9 holes of mini golf and Australian animal experiences. The water attractions including 4 thrilling waterslides, a waterslide playground, kids splash zone and giant inflatable slide are open from September to April. 

The General Manager of Operations is responsible for managing the Team, day-to-day operations, safety and compliance at Perth’s Outback Splash.

• Reports to Chief Operating Officer and Marketing Manager
• Responsible oversight of
• Head of Administration and Operations,
• Guest Service Manager, 
• Guest Service Supervisors, 
• Attraction Supervisors and Casual Team

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Oversee the daily operation of Perth’s Outback Splash
• Coaching and development, hiring and training of Team 
• Establish, train, and maintain operating standards
• Provide in-the-moment coaching/training to supervisors and Team members, ensuring that Team members have a positive, results-oriented manner to achieve efficient and effective and exceptional operations, Guest service, general standards, and Teamwork
• Management of employee onboarding, induction, leave approval and performance reporting as required.
• Ensure Outback Splash operates efficiently adhering to policies, processes and procedures that ensure Guest and Team safety whilst providing outstanding Guest service 
• Responsible for ensuring all safety, cleanliness, and operational standards are met and reported on.
• Coordinates Guest and employee injury and medical response and ensures incident reports are properly completed
• Responds to and address Guest complaints and/or incidents
• Responsible for overseeing all aspects of emergency situations and evacuations
• Coordination of Safety Management systems, HR and WHS compliance.
• Ensures budgets are adhered to and Key Performance Indicators are achieved.
