World Gym started way back in the golden era of Bodybuilding, Venice Beach – 1976. It has come a long way since then!

We first came to Australia in 2008, opening in Penrith NSW. Now we have over 30 clubs nationally with more in construction.

We offer a wide range of services to our members, and are so much more than just a weight training gym. We offer Group Fitness, Onsite childminding (location specific) and fully stocked barbell café and Proshop. 

What will I be doing?
The role involves Managing a team of energetic staff, reporting on club performance to the Owners, and maintaining a World Class facility for our members. You will actively grow and seek new business for the club, representing the gym in a positive and professional manner.

The key tasks include:

• Working directly with the senior team to ensure overall success in the business
• Provision of exemplary service to members, including listening and responding to member needs in a professional and positive manner
• Manage the day to day running of the club 
• Drive the sales team to achieve KPIs, utilising World Gym systems.

• A commercial focus and a willingness to take full ownership of the Club’s financial success
• Sound organisational and administrative skills
• Experience in leading a large team of employees, Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with the team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Minimum of 12 months Management Experience, Previous experience in the leisure/recreation industry preferable, but not essential
• High level of attention to detail
• Experience with point of sale systems
• Competency in using computers and software programs
• Experience using CRM software such as Gymsales is preferred 
• Adherence to all Work Health and Safety policies, practices, procedures, and legislation
