Following the success of past editions of the World Conference on Drowning Prevention, the International Life Saving Federation (ILS) will be hosting the 2023 World Conference on Drowning Prevention in Perth, Western Australia in December 2023.

With the support of the hosts Royal Life Saving Society Australia and Surf Life Saving Australia, #WCDP2023 will be held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre from 4th to 7th December 2023.

However, the hosts are offering more than just a three-day conference, extending the events from 2nd to 8th December.

It will be an event to remember with delegates invited to participate in a week-long experience that will include pre and post conference workshops, field trips, and masterclasses during the entire period from 2nd to 8th December. The ILS Board and Commission meetings will take place during this period.

Co-sponsored by the World Health Organization (WHO), #WCDP2023 will bring together the world's leading drowning experts in research, education and action to find the best approaches, techniques and quality technologies to reduce the global drowning burden.
