March 6, 2020

YMCA ONE Casey recreation sites including Casey ARC, Casey RACE and Endeavour Hills Leisure Centre, have achieved Fitness Australia’s prestigious National Quality Accreditation.

Joining the first 30 facilities in Australia to achieve this, the accreditation confirms The Y ONE Casey’s commitment to providing outstanding quality, value, safety and customer service.

ONE Casey Active Communities Manager, Matt Frost advised “this Accreditation provides the Y with the recognition and acknowledgement to support the work that our teams deliver on the ground daily.

“It reinforces that The Y - ONE Casey continuously strives to be the leader in recreation facility management in Victoria. The accreditation confirms our exceptionally high standards of business practice and an ongoing commitment to serve our customers and the broader community.

Frost added “gaining the Fitness Australia Accreditation for the three sites demonstrates this commitment whilst also providing a pathway of continuous improvement.”

Quality Accreditation Program participants are required to undertake a rigorous assessment in six key areas including professionalism, safety, customer care, information and knowledge, people and leadership. It provides the opportunity to improve the effectiveness of their business, provide greater value to their customers and raise community expectations of customer care and service.

Casey Area Manager, Carly Sanders enthused, “it is a source of great pride to be the amongst the first groups of recreation sites to achieve 100% compliance across all of our managed facilities. It confirms our unwavering commitment to deliver quality, value and care to our community.

“This Accreditation provides us with the recognition and acknowledgement to support the incredible work that our teams deliver on the ground.”

City of Casey Team Leader Leisure Facility Management, Sara Merkus noted “Council believes that this accreditation will offer enhanced health and wellbeing opportunities for the community as a whole, servicing them to the highest standards.

“We are extremely proud to have facilities that provide a premium quality standard of product offerings. By being recognised as accredited Fitness Australia facilities, the City of Casey is able to confidently provide the community with exceptional fitness participation opportunities, knowledgeable staff and Allied Health referral options.

“The residents of Casey can confidently enter into Casey ARC, Casey RACE and Endeavour Hills Leisure Centre and know that they are in good hands.”
