read moreWollongong City Council is making play a priority by investing and upgrading in their existing playgrounds. As such, Council has recently completed upgrades to three of its playgrounds - Bulli Beach Reserve, Rae Crescent Reserve in Balgownie and Rube Hargrave Park in Clifton -
Preparations and onsite works to renew these playgrounds commenced in April, and included $450,000 of upgrades to the improve the play experience including:
People of all ages and abilities enjoy play and these spaces are valued by all members of the community, especially children.
At the same time, Council has started work on two playgrounds in Cawley Park, Russel Vale and Wongawilli Community Hall and they’re on track to be finished by the end of the financial year.
