Vital Protection Group appointed distributors for Metrasens detection technologies

Vital Protection Group appointed distributors for Metrasens detection technologies
May 14, 2019

With an ever-growing demand for innovative and efficient security systems, Vital Protection Group has recently been appointed as an authorised distributor for Metrasens’ metal/ferromagnetic detection technologies.

The world’s most advanced metal/ferromagnetic detection technology, Metrasens units are designed to detect weapons that can cause mass casualties while minimising patron disruption.

Advising that each Metrasens post can handle between 3,000 and 3,600 patrons per hour, Vital Protection Group Director, Eddie Idik explains “we have had the pleasure of personally seeing the operations and effectiveness of the Metrasens products in venues including its capability to scan patrons at a rapid speed allowing faster movements of patrons into the event with minimal false alarm detections.”

In addition, Metrasens’ Proscreen 900 plus (pictured) are battery powered, requiring no power leads and can be relocated with ease thanks to the unit’s light weight build.

Idik adds “the units will revolutionise the traditional walk-through scanners to events and ensure that your guests are satisfied with the rapid security processing (being able to) enjoy the event and not get held up for long periods of time at the security check points.”

The Vital Risk Services Group team will be showcasing the Metrasens units on stand 39 at this year’s Asia Pacific Venue Industry Congress being held from 26th to 28th May 2019 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
