Ungerboeck becomes inaugural EEAA Young Stars Program partner

Ungerboeck becomes inaugural EEAA Young Stars Program partner
June 4, 2015

The Exhibition and Event Association of Australasia (EEAA) has announced Ungerboeck Software International as the inaugural Gold Partner of its Young Stars Program.

After three years, the Association’s initiative which focuses on the development of future leaders is now embedded as an important priority of the EEAA and a key part of the Association’s five year Strategic Plan.

Explaining that the program was now well established in the life of the Association and was much valued by members, EEAA Chief Executive Joyce DiMascio stated “after three years, we can look back and begin to see the benefits of reaching out to our younger members – we have created an engaged community of talented professionals who are being proactively developed to be leaders of the industry.

“For this reason, it was the right time to reach out to our members and invite companies to support the ongoing development of the initiative.

“We congratulate Ungerboeck Software International for investing in the development of young people working in the exhibition and events sector.

“Ungerboeck is also a sponsor of the annual Richard Geddes Young Achiever Award at the EEAA Awards for Excellence and like the EEAA, have a true commitment to nurturing young talent.”

Ungerboeck Asia Pacific Managing Director Fred Lazzerini explains the company is honoured to be the inaugural Gold Sponsor of the EEAA Young Stars Program and to be supporting such a talented group of industry professionals.

Lazzerini stated “the targeted sponsorship that we undertake is aimed at securing continuous development, shared successes and sustained industry growth for our customers and peers for years to come.

“We see the Gold Sponsorship of the EEAA Young Stars Program as a natural extension of this. It supports the ideas and innovations of future leaders so that they have the confidence to drive the evolution of the events industry in the region.

“We have been aware of the positive work of the EEAA Young Stars Program for some time and are very pleased that one of our dedicated Account Managers, Samara Wilson, is a committee representative for Queensland.

“We are looking forward to the opportunity to increase our involvement with this proactive group and hope we can provide additional support and guidance required to help them successfully achieve their future goals.”

The EEAA is urging the industry to get behind the EEAA Young Stars Program and follow the lead of Ungerboeck.

The EEAA is the peak association for the exhibition and event industry, representing organisers, venues and suppliers.
