TicketSearch launches Next-Generation Ticketing platform in Australasia

TicketSearch launches Next-Generation Ticketing platform in Australasia
September 29, 2020

Developed in collaboration with over 700 global venues and backed by the company’s 15 years of experience in the ticketing industry, global ticketing platform TicketSearch has launched new sales and service options for clients in Australia and New Zealand.

Built in collaboration with venues across three continents, TicketSearch developers incorporated advanced features for venues to manage ticket sales and upsell additional services, including timely features such as SMART social-distancing and virtual event technologies.

Over the last eight years, TicketSearch has worked hard to deliver an Australian owned and developed ticketing system. After this extensive period of planning and development, the system finally went live in February this and has since been further refined and perfected in time for the official launch.

With more than 100 venues have embraced this new platform in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Asia, and Mexico, the Australasian launch is being overseen by Dennis Doulgeridis and Scott Saunders who have more than 10 years of experience within the ticketing industry.

Developing a system designed to solve the major issues and shortfalls that Australian and New Zealand venues have experienced with inferior systems, they have utilised feedback from over 1,000 customers, perfecting a ticketing system that gives clients a competitive edge for every event. Advising that the TicketSearch is the platform that delivers on the need and desire to have the best localised & adaptable system in these ever-changing times, Doulgeridis stated “our Australian team has been collaborating with customers and venues to create a platform that will advance the industry by providing venues and event organisers with more options for their patrons at a lower overall cost.”

The purpose behind TicketSearch is to provide venues with a ticketing system that performs above and beyond the capabilities of ticketing systems in the past. Taking lessons learned from the SeatAdvisor product which has been live for more than 20 years, TicketSearch has focused in on exactly what clients need from their ticketing system, delivering this exciting new platform. Here is what TicketSearch customers have to say about this system:

Peter Ross, Manager - Entertainment Venues and Executive Producer, NSW.
“The whole implantation, change-over and going live process was really smooth.

“The team at TicketSearch are so great to work with and always available. TicketSearch brings together a whole lot of customer and ticketing activities in one easy to use environment.

“Bubble seating and the ability to sell and connect ticket buyers to virtual events is leading the market and makes the whole admin process a breeze. I really could just go on and on - there are so many features. This is truly the best system I have ever worked with.”

Wonderland Entertainment and Leisure, Victoria
“The TicketSearch system has been brilliant with easy to follow instructions and information throughout the whole system and when I have had queries the support team had been so incredibly helpful.”

Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre, NSW
“In a year that has been undisputedly rubbish, the one good thing about 2020 is our transition to this ticketing platform. The system is extremely user-friendly, the ability to customise almost anything is amazing and the tech support is first class and fast.”

Nicky Hansen, General Manager, Margaret River HEART, Western Australia
“The ease of syncing the system with our existing mailing lists has made sure our venue remained engaged and connected with all our patrons during such uncertain times. The prompt, professional and efficient services of the TicketSearch support team has helped keep the HEART beating!”

City of Playford, South Australia
“Thanks to the team at TicketSearch for making the switch so seamless. The process to integrate our data was easy and user friendly and a big thanks to the team who were always available for support.”

Broken Hill City Council, NSW
“TicketSearch is changing the way we operate on a daily basis, it’s refreshing to have an Aussie company that understands, meets and exceeds our needs.”

TicketSearch offers users three levels of service (Basic, Standard & Enterprise) depending on the features required. Basic and Standard levels offer the ability to upsell retail items, market the event through integrations, and track marketing results. The Standard level offers more robust marketing, additional payment gateways, and box office features. With processing fees starting at $0.30 per ticket, TicketSearch offers increased functionality at less than half of the industry’s average ticketing costs. Multiple merchant account integrations enable ticket revenues to be deposited directly into the organizer’s account for increased control over cashflow.

The Enterprise level provides the most well-featured and powerful integrated ticketing solution available, with season and flex ticket packages, deals and discounts, merchandise, donations, gift vouchers, marketing and membership modules. TicketSearch Enterprise includes a complete customer relationship manager (CRM) solution. All three levels of the system include modules for easy data migration to ensure the patron membership and history is available for future seasons.

While many ticketing platforms are struggling to pivot into the new reality that COVID-19 has driven, TicketSearch has integrated SMART social-distancing technologies and virtual event integrations. Within the system, SMART social-distancing seat bubbles are created by automatically blocking seats adjacent to the customer’s order, ensuring adequate social distancing is maintained. TicketSearch blocks only the appropriate number of seats and not pre-killed seats, allowing the venue to maximise sales while still protecting patrons. Additional features to protect the health and safety of patrons and employees have been incorporated. When ordering tickets, venues have the option to request additional information for each ticket holder in the order to allow for contact tracing.

Doulgeridis added “as our industry deals with the devastating effects of COVID-19 pandemic, TicketSearch will pioneer the global recovery by inspiring and empowering clients with a new way of bringing people together through events and experiences. We’re pleased to partner with such experienced business leaders to ensure the successful launch.”
