SureVision partners with Basketball Australia for FIBA Women’s Asia Cup
May 18, 2023

Basketball Australia has today announced that leading digital screen solution provider SureVision will light up Sydney Olympic Park’s Quaycentre as an official supplier for the 2023 FIBA Women’s Asia Cup.

Known for creating immersive digital experiences for sporting events across Australia and New Zealand, SureVision will amplify the fan experience during the tournament this June.

From highlighting scores and stats to player names and team logos, the vibrant digital signage plays a crucial role in providing key information for fans during the game, and importantly, will incorporate safety covers and impact protection for athletes.

Being held in Australia for the first time, the FIBA Women's Asia Cup, scheduled to run from 26th June to 2nd July, will see the best eight teams from across the Asian region - including Australia, China, Japan, Korea and New Zealand - compete for the trophy.

Stating his delight that SureVision will help elevate the in-venue experience across all 20 matches for fans at the FIBA Women’s Asia Cup, Basketball Australia Chief Executive, Matt Scriven advised “we want to ensure all fans have an amazing experience when they attend the FIBA Women’s Asia Cup and the visual effects created by courtside lighting and signage adds another layer to the atmosphere.

“SureVision provides industry-leading technology and they have delivered LED solutions for some of the best world-class sporting events in Australia, so we’re looking forward to working with their team to enhance the Asia Cup in June.”

SureVision Chief Executive, Nick Ebbeck added “SureVision is extremely excited and looking forward to a long-lasting partnership with Basketball Australia starting as its official supplier for the 2023 FIBA Women’s Asia Cup.

“As industry leaders in providing sporting codes with ‘best of breed’ digital solutions, I am very proud to have formed this relationship.

“Basketball Australia is proving to be innovative and one of the fastest-growing codes in Australia and SureVision will continue to support them on their journey to even greater success.”
