Sanderson Group, the multinational attractions and tourism design and construction firm and leading Australian entertainment group Village Roadshow Limited have formed an exclusive partnership to deliver turnkey solutions for investors and developers in attractions, entertainment and tourism industries.

The partnership was announced at last week's Asian Attractions Expo in Hong Kong by Village Roadshow Limited Chairman Robert Kirby and Sanderson Group Chairman Steve Sanderson.

The partnership is a strategic alliance that aims to secure contracts in the Asia market and in particular, China.

It comes 20 years after Village Roadshow first hired the Sanderson Group to complete works at Warner Bros. Movie World on the Gold Coast. Since that time the two companies have collaborated on projects around Australia including Sea World and Wet'n'Wild Water World while the Sanderson Group is also set to start work on Village's proposed $80 million Wet'n'Wild Sydney.

The Sanderson Group has also completed a suite of projects in Asia over the past five years including Disney Seas in Tokyo and the Universal Studios Singapore.

Founded on the Gold Coast, the Sanderson Group employs about 400 staff, mostly in South East Asia, and last year relocated 30 senior staff from the Gold Coast to its new base in Kuala Lumpur.

Village Roadshow Limited is Australia's leading entertainment group spanning theme parks, cinemas and film production.
