Quayclean ready for 2015 Australian Open

With the 2015 Australian Open set to start on Monday, Quayclean will be behind the scenes at Melbourne and Olympic Parks making sure the venue remains clean and that patrons’ waste and rubbish is removed.

For the two weeks of the tournament, Quayclean’s cleaning teams will be in high demand with more than 680,000 patrons expected to attend, providing pre, during and post event cleaning.

Quayclean were first became involved in the Australian Open during 2010, providing cleaning services for portions of the event and venue. For the 2015 event, Quayclean began working with the Melbourne and Olympic Parks Trust in December last year undertaking pre event cleaning works to prepare the venue to standards required the commencement of the event.

Commenting on the Quayclean’s involvement with the event, a company spokesperson explained “our involvement with an event such as the Australian Open is more than ‘just cleaning’.

“Prior to gates opening, we take our team through a comprehensive induction program, including venue accreditation and police checks for over 120 staff.

“Quayclean also develop and implement a thorough mobilisation plan which includes the procurement of capital equipment and supplies.”
