Podcast aims to aid fitness club owners
With fitness clubs under increasing pressure to outperform their rivals, fitness technology expert Lane Harrison of GreeneDesk Australia has launched a new industry podcast which aims to help gym owners and managers stay up to date with the latest business development strategies and topics.
The Strategic Health Club Podcast includes weekly episodes featuring regular special guest appearances from leading industry experts and focus on providing content that will help fitness club professionals grow their business.
As host Harrison states “the podcast will focus on four key areas of growing a health club including lead generation, conversion - sales/marketing, member retention and increasing member lifetime value.”
Harrison’s experience leads him to believe that fitness club owners and managers often do not know where to start when it comes to learning effective strategies for growing their business and standing out from the competition.
Annual conferences and tradeshows provide a good platform for learning from industry specialists, however, Harrison sees that annual events only provides a quick hit of information which is hard to digest in the space of a few day.
In addition to this, with the increasing business reliance on technology a year is a lifetime in the current business landscape.
He explains “there are a number of annual educational events open to health club owners and managers however these only take place once a year.
“The strategic health club podcast will give health club owners and manages access to ongoing educations from business experts year round.”
Each podcast lasts less than 20 minutes to allow listeners to consume the content during their commute or while exercising.
