read moreMt Hotham ski slopes are set to become even more colourful during the winter snow season with LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Melbourne creating the ultimate ‘bricktastic’ series of events during the upcoming school holidays.
The new collaboration between Mt Hotham Skiing Company and LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre will enable children to enjoy LEGO® magic at the snow throughout the July and September school holidays.
Children and parents young at heart will be able to participate in a number of free activities offered exclusively to visitors of Mt Hotham. There will be a family build challenge using LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre brick tables as well as a variety of Story Time events for toddlers every Tuesday during the holidays.
A highlight of the Mt Hotham holiday program will be the chance to meet Bertie, LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre’s own mascot who will travel all the way from Melbourne to join Hotham’s famous mascot Harry the Snowdragon to celebrate his birthday on Wednesday 4th July.
Dave Boyd, General Manager, LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre says “a collaboration with an iconic winter destination such as Mount Hotham is a fantastic world of opportunity and colour for us to extend our world of creativity in Melbourne to new people at Hotham.”
The series of events will take place at the Big D kids’ hub and provide popular options to keep guests entertained on and off the snow.
Mt Hotham Skiing Company General Manager Belinda Trembath advises “we’re absolutely delighted to partner with the first LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre in Australia.
“What better way to entertain our younger guests when they’re not on the ski slopes, than by immersing themselves in the inventiveness and fun that playing with LEGO® brings.”
