Mapei has announced a new three-year partnership with Netball Victoria.

Founded in Milan in 1937, Mapei is one of the main producers of adhesives for the installation of all types of floor and wall coverings and is also specialised in other chemical products used in the building industry, such as grouts and sealants, waterproofing products, special mortars and much more.

Mapei’s National Product Manager - Sports Line, Neil McIntosh, said this significant new partnership extends the brand’s involvement in sport, commenting “Mapei has been a sponsor and supporter of sport globally for many years and is proud of our involvement with a variety of sports including soccer, cycling, basketball, tennis and now specifically netball here in Australia.

“We see this partnership as a significant step in supporting all aspects of the sport of netball in Victoria and more broadly across the country. This includes focusing on the safety of all players and officials by providing cutting-edge solutions to assist in the creation of playing surfaces that are tailored to suit the sport and deliver on its performance requirements.

Netball Victoria Chief Executive Rosie King said Mapei joining the Netball Victoria family is an exciting opportunity for our sport, adding “Mapei products are known for their performance and quality and we are very pleased to be partnering with this industry leader.” 

Netball Victoria recently launched its state-wide facilities strategy.
