read moreThe Australian Regional Tourism (ART) Annual General Meeting (AGM) held at the ART Convention in Newcastle has concluded on a high note, highlighting a strong financial position and the appointment of new leadership to steer the organisation towards a promising future. This financial strength positions ART to continue its mission of championing regional tourism and agritourism in Australia.
Through the election, the following key leadership changes were announced:
Chair: Joel Chadwick
Chadwick (pictured) steps into the role of Chair, bringing a wealth of experience and vision to lead ART to new horizons.
Deputy Chair: Lori Modde
Modde has been appointed as Deputy Chair, bringing her visitor economy expertise and commitment to further bolster ART's mission.
Treasurer: Hamish Fell
Fell takes on the role of Treasurer, ensuring the organisation's financial stability and strategic execution.
ART advised “outgoing Chair Coralie Bell, who provided unwavering leadership during challenging times, was recognised and thanked for her dedication and commitment to the organisation.

The organisation is committed to its role as the driving force behind regional tourism, focusing on collaboration, innovation, and sustainable development to support the growth and prosperity of regional communities.”
Sharing his enthusiasm for the opportunities ahead, Chadwick noted "I'm honoured to lead ART during this pivotal period. We have a strong foundation, a dedicated team, and a clear vision for the future of regional tourism in Australia. We will continue to champion the cause and work to ensure regional tourism thrives."
As ART enters this new era, the organisation looks forward to the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead and remains dedicated to its mission of advancing regional tourism and agritourism in Australia.
