Final enrolment places are still available for the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC) Institute of Training Sport Facility Management workshop to be held on the Gold Coast on 16th and 17th May.

The interactive Sport Facility Management workshop, entitled 'Successful Sport Facility Management from Concept to Reality' aims to provide an outstanding opportunity for delegates to observe and learn from leading experts with practical experience in the conception, planning, design, construction, establishment and operation of major sport facilities.

The program consists of four topics delivered in a two interactive workshop style event, presented by:

• Simon Weatherill, Chief Executive, Victorian State Sport Centres Trust;

• Peter Brook, Design Director, Peddle Thorp Architects;

• Peter Murphy, Chief Operating Officer, Victorian State Sport Centres Trust.

Designed for senior executives, governing body representatives, facility operators, venue managers, event managers, project managers, organising committee members, architects and builders as well as the suppliers of products, services and equipment, workshop topics include:

• Concept Planning

• Community Engagement

• Major Events

• Legacy Planning

The workshop runs over two days Thursday 16th and Friday 17th May at the Hilton Surfers Paradise.
