read moreHaving reopened last Wednesday, Dreamworld and WhiteWater World have reported a positive restart of their operations, welcoming back over 650 team members and thousands of local guests.
The Queensland school holidays, which coincided with the attractions' reopening, have seen an immediate impact on the park’s attendance which have exceeded expectations, as have strong sales of Annual Passes within the local market.
Commenting on the successful past seven days, Dreamworld Chief Operating Officer ,Greg Yong stated “our parks are confident that we’ve got a solid offering of fantastic theme park attractions and experiences, complimented with a price that provides real value for locals.
“We are proud to offer our locals a safe and fun school holiday experience and are encouraged with our attendances and sales so far. Our guests are really keen to be back at Dreamworld and WhiteWater World during these school holidays, and we’ve already had great feedback on our newest experience, Sky Voyager Experience USA. It’s an incredible simulated flight over America’s best sights, with no passport required.”
Two of Dreamworld’s Happy Halloween events taking place on selected nights this October have already sold out, with the announcement of a new night now added on Saturday 17th October.
Yong added “it’s going to be a fantastic family event and a safe way for little ones to celebrate Happy Halloween. Ticket sales are already incredibly popular so we encourage our passholders to secure their free ticket as soon as they can.”
