Belgravia Leisure reveals management team for ACT’s aquatic and recreation centres
November 30, 2023

Having recently been awarded the contract to manage the five ACT Government’s five pools and aquatic centres, Belgravia Leisure has announced the team of managers that will head up its operations at the facilities

The leadership team, all of whom were previous YMCA employees, will be managing the Canberra Olympic Pool, Gungahlin Leisure Centre, Stromlo Leisure Centre, Lakeside Leisure Centre and Dickson Pool.

According to Belgravia Leisure “they are currently all hands-on deck during a busy couple of weeks transitioning into the venues, helping new staff as well as familiar faces become familiar with Belgravia Leisure systems, processes and procedures.

“These venues serve as community spaces, embracing individuals of all ages and abilities, including those with special needs. This aligns seamlessly with our commitment to creating and delivering programs that are safe, fun, innovative, accessible, diverse, and consistently high-quality for the health and well-being of the communities we serve.”

The new leadership team consists of:

  • Mathew Pole - ACT Regional Manager
  • Bernice Hay - Venue Manager, Stromlo Leisure Centre
  • Nicole Trindorfer - Venue Manager, Gungahlin Leisure Centre and Dickson Pool
  • Molly Shannon - Assistant Venue Manager, Gungahlin Leisure Centre and Dickson Pool
  • Jake Snowball - Venue Manager, Lakeside Leisure Centre
  • Tracy King - Venue Manager, Canberra Olympic Pool

Belgravia Leisure added “(we are) thrilled to welcome these talented individuals to our Belgravia Leisure team and (we) look forward to the positive impact they will undoubtedly have on the health and well-being of the ACT community.

“Together, they are set to lead the charge in creating vibrant, inclusive, community-focused leisure venues for all to enjoy.”
