This is AUSTSWIM’s first ‘Soak It Up’ International Conference since 2019.and is being held in Queensland at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre on 5th and 6th July 2023.
Hosted by AUSTSWIM Ambassador Brooke Hanson OLY OAM, this year’s AUSTSWIM ‘Soak It Up’ International Conference ‘Reimagined’ 2023 will deliver cutting-edge topics through a diverse speaking format spotlighting all levels of the industry.
The two-day event will include a diverse program of speakers. activities, and exhibitors and will address issues from motivation and engagement, leadership and programming to business, inclusion, equity and diversity, drills, skills and water safety.
Attendees will hear from Laurie Lawrence - an advocate for decreasing drowning rates among children; Claire Rodgers, Chief Executive and co-founder of Oho, a revolutionary compliance software supporting organisations to meet regulatory obligations; Darren Hill, one of Australia's most in-demand strategists, and founder of Pragmatic Thinking; and Jan Owen - The Foundation for Young Australians Chief Executive.
They will also be joined by Nadia Azizabadi, an AUSTSWIM licensed teacher, and founder of "From Zero to Hero," as well as Rachel Downie, an expert on engendering dignity and respect in relationships.
The AUSTSWIM ‘Soak It Up’ International Conference ‘Reimagined’ 2023 is a must-attend event for all those interested in the swimming and water safety industry, providing a platform to engage with industry professionals, learn about emerging trends and technologies, and gain insights on how to drive growth and innovation in this space.
2023 is gearing up to be a massive year for AUSTSWIM as the organisation celebrates 44 years of service to the aquatics and recreation industry. With over 393 000 Teachers of Swimming and Water Safety trained since inception, the legacy is significant.
