Australian Reptile Park urges use of Dine & Discover vouchers before expiry

Australian Reptile Park urges use of Dine & Discover vouchers before expiry
June 24, 2022

With the NSW Government having released data outlining the areas with the most unused Dine & Discover Vouchers, the Australian Reptile Park is shocked by the Central Coast having topped the list with an astounding 547,543 unused vouchers with a value of over $13,700,0001.

With just a week left before the vouchers expire, the Central Coast wildlife park is urging all residents to check their Service NSW app and make sure their vouchers don’t go to waste.

The Central Coast, Blacktown, and Canterbury-Bankstown areas all have over 500,000 unused Dine & Discover vouchers that will expire on 30th June, with millions of dollars of Government funding potentially wasted. Across the state, more than $326 million worth of vouchers are still to be redeemed2.

The Australian Reptile Park was one of the flagship businesses to help the NSW Government launch the Dine & Discover voucher scheme in February 2021 and has since seen over 35,000 vouchers redeemed at the Central Coast wildlife park – a much needed boost after COVID closures saw the Park close for a total of six months between 2020 and 2021.

Australian Reptile Park Director, Liz Gabriel notes “the support we’ve received from visitors from all across the state over the past year has been incredible, thanks to the NSW Government and the Dine & Discover Voucher scheme.

“What’s shocking is that so many vouchers are yet to be used! With the Central Coast topping the list of the most unused vouchers, we want to get the word out there to make sure no one misses out!

“This weekend is the last weekend to use your vouchers before they expire on Thursday 30th June and it’s also the last weekend of Jurassic June where our dinosaurs are out running around the Park! This is your last chance to make the most of your Dine & Discover vouchers so don’t miss out!”

The Australian Reptile Park is accepting Dine & Discover NSW Vouchers both online and at the gate, until 30th June 2022. Visitors can simply scan their Discover Vouchers at Reception upon arrival for $25 off their tickets or they can redeem multiple vouchers online through the Australian Reptile Park’s website in exchange for ARP Discount Codes. Once the Discover Vouchers have been exchanged for ARP Discount Code, they can use multiple codes in one transaction.

For those wishing to ‘pay it forward’ to support families in need, the Australian Reptile Park’s ‘Pay Discover Forward’ program allows visitors to redeem their vouchers online and choose a charity for the Reptile Park to donate tickets to on their behalf. They will also receive a $25 ARP Discount Code to use for their own visit. Since the ‘Pay Discover Forward’ program was introduced in July last year, over $550,000 worth of tickets has been donated to charities such as Ronald McDonald House Charities, Make-A-Wish Australia, the Kids with Cancer Foundation and other deserving children’s charities.
