Australian Innovative Systems expands into new production facility

Leading water disinfection company and chlorinator manufacturer, Australian Innovative Systems (AISystems) has purchased a fourth production facility to satisfy the increasing demand for its technologies.
Located just across the road from the company’s 51 Millenium Street, Tingalpa Head Office, the new 1,900 metre² at 50 Millenium Street and will house AIS’s commercial production and research and development departments with the company’s management, residential production and anode production facilities remaining at their current, head office location.
With the facility dues to open next week, AISystems Chief Executive Elena Gosse said that the company’s 20 year-plus reputation for quality and innovation had grown, so too had the demand for its products.
The decision to consolidate all areas of the business into the one street will allow AIS to increase production capacity by 150% as well as improve the working environment for its more than 50 employees.
Gosse explained “it is certainly an exciting time in AIS’s history as we expand our business and centrally locate our teams in order to meet increasing market demand for our products.
“We see the consolidation of our production facilities in one location as an opportunity to further improve our standards of production and quality control; enhance the level of collaboration between our staff; increase creativity and innovation and improve our operational efficiencies.
“With our technology exported to over 55 countries I very proud that we are expanding and remaining an Australian owned and operated business at a time where many other businesses are moving their manufacturing plants offshore.”
The new premises are being added at a time where AISystems is intensifying its efforts to improve industry awareness and education about the benefits of in-line chlorination and the dangers and environmental consequences of dosing water with copious quantities of chemicals.
Antiquated chemical dosing technology (involving the manufacturing, transportation and storage of large quantities of toxic chemicals) amounts to considerable expense and hassle over time and brings many occupational health and safety considerations.
AISystems’ technology puts a stop to the chemical cycle and, through the process of electrolysis and inline or offline chlorination, automatically disinfects water efficiently and safely on site, within the pool system and with minimal operator involvement.
