The new Tepid Baths will offer a seven lane, 25 metre lap pool, a learner's pool with graduated depth, a spa pool, sauna and steam room.
There will also be a gym with cutting edge Cybex and X-Dream equipment and state-of-the-art pump and filter systems while poolside cabanas and heritage-inspired tiling will pay tribute to the Baths' almost 100-year history.
To celebrate the 23rd June grand reopening of the city centre facility, there will be a public event, including tours, a ceremony at noon and two exclusive swimming sessions later in the day.
Swimming pools
The Tepid Baths includes a 25 metre pool for lane swimming and a 15 metre learners pool with graduated depth, both for casual swimming and recreation. Spa and sauna facilities are also available as well as a steam room.
Fitness centre
With a full range of modern cardio and weights equipment, the fitness centre will offer affordable membership options. Fitness memberships will also include access to pools, spa, steam room and sauna.
Swim School
Tepid Baths swim school caters for all levels of swimmers from specialised baby programmes, pre-schoolers, school-aged squad swimmers and adults.
Disabled access
The Baths welcome everyone regardless of ability or disability in line with Auckland Council's aim to improve accessibility to facilities and provide active leisure opportunities for all.
