read moreThe Australian Institute of Fitness (AIF) is one of the first registered training organisations (RTO) to have its training facilities approved by the Right Way Program, a new industry recognition of quality.
Students should always receive quality training and assessments, yet service industry stakeholders have consistently reported poor outcomes to Service Skills Australia (SSA), the not-for-profit organisation that supports skills development.
In response, SSA has developed a range of products and services collectively known as the Right Way. This program, part of SSA's strategic work to achieve quality skills outcomes throughout the service industries, focuses on quality training and assessment facilities, quality trainers and assessors, and quality learning resources.
Already a leader in fitness courses and careers, the AIF is now one of the first RTOs to have training facilities recognised by the Right Way Program.
Each of the AIF's campuses (at St Leonards and Parramatta in NSW; as well as in Melbourne; Brisbane; Adelaide and Perth) have received the recognition which means that students will know that the Institute adheres to the environmental and resource requirements prescribed within the Evidence Guide of Training Package competency standards and in the Assessment Guidelines.
Australian Institute of Fitness NSW/ACT Chief Executive David Hatch explains "it's a great recognition of our efforts to be one of the first RTOs to have training facilities approved by the Right Way Program. It keeps us at the forefront of the industry, and in our 'first' position."
