ACTIVE Network marks five year partnership with Triathlon Australia
Data solutions, activities and events provider ACTIVE Network has this week marked five years of working with Triathlon Australia as its exclusive technology provider for online event entries and membership management.
The anniversary has also seen ACTIVE and Triathlon Australia celebrate passing the major milestone of more than 20,000 Triathlon Australia members joining online for the 2015/16 season.
In the five years of the partnership, Triathlon Australia’s membership has grown from nearly 12,000 members in 2011 to more than 20,000 memberships in 2016 – illustrating both the growth of the sport of triathlon in Australia as well as members’ adoption of online registrations.
Triathlon Australia leverages ACTIVE’s Membership Manager platform to streamline the administration of club and membership management. ACTIVE’s industry-leading solution enables Triathlon Australia to collect membership payments online, view real-time membership reports and easily communicate with members via integrated communication tools.

ACTIVE Membership Manager integrates with ACTIVE’s robust technology platform for online entries and database management, ACTIVEWorks® Endurance, making it even easier for members to register for an event. With the integration, Triathlon Australia is able to automatically and seamlessly validate members and offer member discounts during the online entry process, without a manual cross check process of its member database. The platform is capable of offering participants the opportunity to sign up for memberships in an event registration form and it both reminds members of their upcoming renewal fees and due dates while easily allowing them to renew those memberships automatically and conveniently. Triathlon Australia was able to auto-renew more than 11,000 active members in July 2015 with Membership Manager and registered more than 21,000 members in total for the 2015/16 season.
