2015 a record year for Laserforce

2015 a record year for Laserforce
May 19, 2016

Having undertaken over 60 new projects in 2015, leading global laser tag manufacturer Laserforce has enjoyed a record year.

With more high-end laser tag sites opened worldwide with Laserforce laser tag equipment than any other company in 2015, the company’s innovation and robustness has seen it enjoy its best year in its 28-year history.

Len Kelly, company founder and owner of the world’s longest-running laser tag site – located in Brisbane – explains “I believe our stellar company performance is a testament to our robust laser tag equipment and the best team in the industry."

2015 saw a record number of operators choose Laserforce as their laser tag system of choice, with strong sales across the board in Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia.

Clients ranged from stand-alone laser tag centres such as Laser Tag of Santa Rosa, USA; to massive entertainment centres like Scene75, Gameworks and O’Learys – each of whom have signed up to work with Laserforce due to its reputation for reliability, fun gameplay, and revenue-generating features.

Kelly added “we have seen high profile competitors' sites such as Scene 75 upgrade to Laserforce, dropping unreliable equipment after just a few years of use.”

Last year, Laserforce added to its industry-leading portfolio of features with a massive update to player achievements, new online features, Facebook integration and beacons.

Already in 2016 Laserforce looks to continue the strong momentum, having deployed two new key products: LED vest racks and self registration functionality via player kiosks – both of which were developed based on customer feedback.

In particular, the player self-registration functionality looks to provide Laserforce operators with a powerful tool to capture customer demographic data and open up new marketing opportunities.

As Laserforce Chief of Global Operations, Jeff Willy adds “our product development cycle lets us constantly put new revenue-generating features in the hands of our operators.

“There are some very exciting things in our pipeline that we think our operators are going to love.”

With almost 20 new sites already scheduled to come online in early 2016, Laserforce is showing no signs of slowing down.
