SwimDesk Software to help new Cockburn ARC engage and retain swim school customers

SwimDesk Software to help new Cockburn ARC engage and retain swim school customers
April 4, 2017

Specialist swim school software SwimDesk will be launched within the swimming lessons program at the soon-to-open Cockburn ARC.

SwimDesk has become the fastest growing swim school related application throughout Australia and New Zealand since its launch in mid-2014.

The software is designed to help swim schools manage and improve communication, progression and retention within the swim school. The program works as a complementary add on to leisure and recreation management systems providing users with the convenience of compatible systems with greatly expanded capabilities.

SwimDesk allows swim school assessors and teachers to record student assessments on pool deck via a tablet or smart phone. The system is most popular for its ease of use and efficiency with being able to notify parents about their child’s progress. The parent portal functionality provides parents with a clear picture of a child’s progress from one assessment to the next.

Other popular SwimDesk functionality includes digital certificates which save hours of administration work and cost as well as in-depth reporting tailored to improving student progress and customer retention.

Scheduled to open in the coming months, the $109 million Cockburn ARC is one of the largest developments of its kind in Australia.

The new facility will not only be the City of Cockburn’s major aquatic and recreation centre but it will also be the new home of the Fremantle Football Club, with the project representing a unique collaboration between the City, the Fremantle Football Club and Curtin University, backed by major funding support from the Federal and Western Australian Governments.

Trialling the new software prior to the opening of the Cockburn ARC, swim school Team Leader Megan Mason commented “after training the team were very impressed and are very excited to use the software.”

SwimDesk National Sales Manager Lane Harrison added “we are excited about working with the Cockburn ARC to create an outstanding swim school experience for their swim school customers”

“The facility is one of the most impressive I have seen.”
