Leading fitness equipment supplier Star Trac has been named as the approved global supplier for fitness equipment for the Hong Kong-based Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, Asia Pacific’s leading luxury hotel group.

The multi-year agreement provides an opportunity to enhance the premium guest experience across all Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts with the entire line of innovative Star Trac cardio, strength, and group exercise equipment as well as customer-focused service solutions.

Announcing the agreement Star Trac Hospitality Manager - Asia Brian Dorairajah explains “Shangri-La International Hotel Management Ltd.’s sales and supply agreement has an industry reputation of being one of the toughest approval processes for an approved vendor status.

“I am extremely happy to be able to partner with such a prestigious hotel brand to introduce customized, high quality fitness solutions across all Shangri-La properties.”

Star Trac has a long-standing relationship with the Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, having outfitted multiple properties throughout Asia with high end, full service fitness centers featuring E Series cardio with embedded touch screen technology, HumanSport® functional training equipment with wood finish and rich upholstery, and complete circuits of selectorised Inspiration Strength® equipment. Additionally, each fitness center is backed by the industry-leading customer service solutions tailored to the specific needs of a luxury hotel property.
