Peninsula Hot Springs opens clay based wellness experience
The power of touch combined with the restorative energy of the Australian earth has inspired a new wellness experience, Clay Ridge, at Peninsula Hot Springs on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula.
Clay Ridge offers visitors the chance to smooth, soften and rejuvenate their skin with detoxifying, mineral rich clays sourced from around Australia and combined with geothermal water from Peninsula’s hot springs.
The clays have a cooling effect when applied to the body so is an ideal treatment for the hot climate - it is applied and allowed to dry while the rich nutrients absorb into the skin. The clay is then washed off under natural Peninsula Hot Springs’ mineral showers.
Inspired by ancient traditions these detoxifying clays, which are rich in minerals, offer a unique restorative treatment.
The experience is delivered in an environment surrounded by coastal bushland, presenting a transformative setting of healing and calm.
The Clay and Bathe Package lasts 45 minutes and is available daily (it must be booked with Bath House bathing).
The experience is weather dependent.
