read moreThe Belgravia Group’s Ninja Parc indoor obstacle course franchise prepares to open its first Sydney Ninja Parc site at South Granville on Saturday 9th April.
This is the fourth location for the Ninja Parc brand in Australia – with more openings planned in Sydney before the end of 2022.
The indoor obstacle course and parkour centre is part of a new trend that is turning physical activity on its head, maximising the fun and adventure and minimising the boredom and repetition of more traditional sports.
Ninja Parc South Granville will feature famous obstacles similar to those on Ninja Warrior including rope climbs, bouldering challenges, vertical and horizontal doors, a sea of poles and everyone's favourite: the warped wall. The centre also offers parkour classes, birthday parties, fully supervised school holiday programs and an onsite cafe.
Created by fitness entrepreneur John Pirlo who saw a need to create an outlet for fun and fitness combined, Ninja Parc has already opened locations in Melbourne, Newcastle and Townsville.
As the countdown to Ninja Warrior Season 3 begins and the school holidays loom Pirlo enthused “we’re thrilled that Sydney finally gets a Ninja Parc – and just in time for the school holidays.
“This is fun and movement combined in a unique way that all ages love – the smiles on kids’ faces tell the whole story. This type of activity challenges kids mentally and physically in such a fun way, they don’t even realise they’re getting their daily dose of physical activity! It’s really turning physical activity on its head – such a great way to inspire kids to get moving and use their minds to solve the obstacles they face. It’s like nothing else out there.”
The Ninja Warrior show is also helping to drive demand says Pirlo adding “at other centres we found that during school holiday while Ninja Warrior was on air, school holiday bookings were up a staggering 104% compared to other holiday periods – everyone wants to be a ninja star and .at Ninja Parc, they have the chance to do just that.”
A Grand Opening event will take place on 20th April featuring Ninja Warrior contestants, Ninja Parc National program Manager Mitch Bird, who was one of the official testers of the Ninja Warrior Season 3 course, and Ninja Parc founder, John Pirlo.
Casual sessions start from $10 for children 0-4 and $19.95 for children 5+. Ninja Parc South Granville is located at Unit 1F/62 Ferndell St, South Granville.
