Leading aquatic facility safety surface provider Life Floor has launched its new Mural surfacing product that offers tailored custom design with highly intricate details for a range of aquatic environments.

Launched overnight at the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) Expo 2023 in the USA, the range enables the creation of iconic and highly immersive, themed aquatic environments from the ground up, the innovative surfacing product is able to tailor custom design with highly intricate details.

In addition to the limitless design potential, Murals utilises Life Floor's industry-leading proprietary safety technology that features slip-resistance and cushioning along with delivering more positive guest experiences.

Explaining that the design potential is “sure to delight guests of all ages, abilities and backgrounds worldwide”, Life Floor stated that “designers, architects and creatives of all kinds are invited to test the limits of inspiring imagination (as) the possibilities for themed attractions in the aquatics industry have been revolutionised through Murals.

Hand-Crafted Quality
Life Floor note “all Murals are assembled and quality checked by human hands. Each tile receives intensive care to ensure exact design replication that meets your unique brand standards.

“Once assembled, tiles are shipped to the project site and our expert Certified Installers meticulously install the project according to specification.”

Modular Design
The company goes on to explain “just like our standard tile products, every colour you see is a different tile. Nothing is ever painted, coated, or applied to the tile.

Modular tiles facilitate easy replacement and Murals take modularity to a new level.

“Since every tile is a 61cm x 61cm square, maintenance staff won’t need to replace tiny pieces. We offer every customer the option to purchase attic stock replacements of characters and other complex elements to promote reduced down time.”
