Manukau Leisure Services Ltd has appointed Brett Jude as its Chief Executive.

As General Manager of the company, Brett has led its establishment as a council-controlled organisation over the past year.

Welcoming the appointment, Dr Stuart Middleton, Chairman of the Board of Directors of MLS, recently stated "Brett not only has wide experience in the recreation and leisure industry but also has shown a long and energetic commitment to the communities of Manukau."

Manukau Leisure Services Ltd was established in July 2007 through the creation of leisure services section of Manukau City Council. It operates community recreation and leisure facilities throughout Manukau City and, as a council-controlled organization, works to do this to high standards and in an economically efficient manner.
