International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney) has secured the Outstanding Security Team award at the Australian Security Industry Awards 2019 overnight, highlighting the world class service, commitment to safety and protocols provided by the venue’s security team. The venue was a joint winner of the category alongside the Sydney Opera House.

The national awards recognise those who have demonstrated excellence and innovation, celebrating the very best in the security sector. Since the venue opened in December 2016, ICC Sydney has placed a laser focus on ensuring the safety of their employees, customers, contractors and guests. The venue’s commitment to providing a safe environment is supported by a culture of ‘Together We Do The Extraordinary’, driving collaboration across all departments when it comes to safety and security.

The venue has hosted a number of high profile events, speakers and visitors from Presidents and Prime Ministers to global executives and entertainers, which has highlighted the expertise, skills and strong culture of its security team.
