IAAPA Expo Asia has concluded at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok, having returned to Thailand after 17 years.

The event welcomed 4,623 verified attendees, fostering valuable networking opportunities and insightful discussions among industry leaders. The event highlighted the latest trends, with 352 exhibiting companies presenting their innovative products and services to a pool of 3,187 qualified buyers from 2,480 companies.

IAAPA Expo Asia, a key event for the leisure and attractions industry, gathered professionals and enthusiasts from around the Asia Pacific region to explore innovations, connect with industry leaders, and celebrate the resilience and growth of the sector.

Jakob Wahl, President and Chief Executive IAAPA noted “IAAPA Expo Asia 2024 delivered a solid and respectable show. We are pleased to see our community come together in person to exchange ideas and showcase the future of the attractions industry.”

Jack Chan, executive director, and vice president for IAAPA Asia and Pacific added “Bangkok served as a fantastic host city, providing a fitting backdrop for this event. The support of our members, partners, and exhibitors has been essential to the success of IAAPA Expo Asia 2024, and we appreciate their dedication to our industry.”

The education sessions, a cornerstone of every IAAPA Expo, covered a wide range of topics for our members, including animal interaction trends, water park roundtables, and crafting unforgettable guest services in theme parks.

Next year’s IAAPA Expo Asia will take place from 1st-3rd July, 2025, in Shanghai. So far, 168 companies have contracted for 4,986 square meters of exhibit space.
