Compass Group selects Priava for Australia-wide venue management

Compass Group selects Priava for Australia-wide venue management
August 3, 2016

Leading cloud-based venue management software company Priava has been selected by Compass Group (Australia) Pty Ltd to manage events at a variety of its venues across Australia.

Compass Group (Australia), part of Compass Group PLC, the world’s leading food and support services company, delivers fine dining and concierge services for corporate clients and leading venues including Australian Museum, Queensland Museum, Museum Victoria Melbourne, Melbourne Zoo, Werribee Open Range Zoo, Old Parliament House and Taronga Function Centre, all of which are now successfully using Priava.

Explaining the change, Compass Sales Manager Jane Crulci stated “we decided to update our existing venue management system because it was managed in isolation and used without consistency across the group.

“This resulted in limitations on the ability to produce quality reports, manage brand standards and provide consistency to our customers.

“We reviewed a number of solutions on the market but we chose Priava because it fulfilled all our needs.

“For a company of our size it was important for us to be able to share information across multiple sites so we can see what our clients are doing in other states and encourage them to hold more events with us.

“As Priava is cloud-based it can be accessed effortlessly by all venues.”

Choosing Priava also allows Compass to manage its many remote venues using a single scalable system giving area managers the opportunity to create a consistency across their venues when it comes to reporting, training and business processes. By giving all venue managers and team members access to a centralised system means Compass can share staff and skill sets across its operation. In turn this translates into enhanced service, improved efficiencies and reduced costs.

The benefits that Priava will deliver to venues managed by The Compass Group include:

• Managers can run multi-venue reports from any location
• More effective staff cover – enables mobility of employees across different sites
• Single database provides centralisation, consistency and saves time
• Easier and faster training – new team members can be trained remotely and efficiently
• Head office can access financials, update templates and manage licensing
• Business intelligence through improved reporting
• Cross-selling of venues across entire group

Administrators will also have greater control over users groups and the type of information that they can access in the system.

Priava is a cloud-based and centralised event management and booking system aimed at venues of all sizes - from meeting rooms through to large stadia.

With its familiar and easy-to-use web interface, the software requires minimal training, yet its powerful functionality provides all the complexities involved with multi-venue availability, including event logistics, CRM, sales & marketing, catering, business intelligence, equipment and resource requirements.

Headquartered in Sydney, Priava specialises in delivering venue and event management solutions using the SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) business model to a wide portfolio of niche markets in the venue and events sector.
