With a reputation for cleaning excellence for many of Australia’s leading retailers and blue chip companies, in 2013 the company responded to demand for a high quality and competitive cleaning services for events and venues.
The company already has contracts with the Sydney Motorsport Park - working on events including the Ferrari Racing Days, Top Gear Festival and the V8 Supercars Test Days; for Tough Mudder endurance races and for the Kings of Leon concert at Goat Island on Sydney Harbour.
COGS is led by an experienced and dynamic senior management team passionate about the industry and eager to change the competitive landscape.
The operations management team at COGS has a long history of experience in cleaning events and venues, with over 100 years of cumulative experience between them - managing the cleaning and waste portfolios for many of Australia’s (and the world’s) most iconic events and venues.
The 2014 Vivid Festival saw some of the most iconic landmarks in Sydney transformed by a series of light installations over a two-and-a-half week period. Each year, Vivid draws large crowds of festival-goers eager to witness the impressive light shows. In 2013 over 800,000 visitors attended the Festival, while this year’s opening weekend alone saw a record-breaking 270,000 visitors attend.
COGS was excited to be involved as a service provider at Vivid Festival, managing the cleaning requirements for the IBM “Heart of the City” installation.
Among the team is Business Development Director Greg Purcell, whose long and acclaimed career in event and venue cleaning is a major asset in expanding COGS’ business in the sector.
