Byron Bay resort launches Conference Wellness Program

Byron Bay resort launches Conference Wellness Program
June 4, 2017

The Byron at Byron Resort and Spa has launched a Conference Wellness Program to deliver carefully curated all-inclusive corporate wellness experiences to nourish the soul and re-energise the mind.

Launched in partnership with The Wellness People, the program puts wellness at the centre of meetings with morning movement sessions, wellness seminars and healthy and nourishing menu options.

Aiming to leave attendees clear headed and ready to tackle the any problem that comes their way, the Program emphasisies studies that shown that properly designed wellness routines can deliver significant benefits, with an average rate of return of between 2:1 and 5:1 for every dollar spent.

The Byron at Byron Corporate Wellness Program is designed for either one, two or three days of conferencing. Each day can consist of three different activities for delegates – a physical activity session such as group yoga or boxing on the beach, a wellness or team building workshop and keynote presentations.

Complementing the wellness activities, the Resort team has also designed menus with a focus on healthy living, to offer wholesome and nutritious experience. Delegates will be dining on the likes of antioxidant filled Matcha and Chia seed pudding for breakfast, light and fresh Lettuce Wraps with turmeric infused chicken, mixed salad and toasted pumpkin seeds for lunch and Vegetable Pad Thai with zucchini noodles for dinner.

Health and wellness expert Stephanie Stone from The Wellness People has specifically designed these health and wellness inspired packages and programs for high end conferences and corporate retreats.

Stone and her team of wellness educators and presenters will deliver workshops on problem solving and motivating teams and keynote presentations on topics such as work/life balance to assist in boosting delegate’s performance and promoting a healthy company culture.

She explains “employee health and wellness programs have been growing in popularity over the last couple of years, with over 50% of companies in Australia now offering some kind of health promotion service.

“It is such a pleasure to be a part of this movement and to see the positive benefits for not only the individuals, but the companies as a whole.”
